Char Dham Yatra is SAFE Now
We are always inquiring to locals at Gourikund and Uttarkashi and
state Government officers about road and weather conditions know
whether their visit to the hill state will be safe for our guest. As
of now there is no need to fear as Char Dham yatra and all the
places of tourist interest across the state are absolutely safe.
Those planning to visit Uttarakhand can go anywhere in the state
without any trouble and the state government is "fully prepared" to
deal with any natural calamity including quakes.
All arrangements have been made on the yatra route for the
convenience of pilgrims where there are State Disaster Response
Force besides a well- oiled disaster mitigation and management
machinery which has been directed to evacuate pilgrims and tourists
in case of a crisis. Apart from the trek route, chopper services are
also available for pilgrims from many places like Fata, Guptakashi,
Narayan koti, Masta, sersi and there is accommodation available at
Kedarnath for 2000 persons for each night by the state government.
The yatra to Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, and Hemkund
Sahib has been hindered even as the restoration of roads and bridges
leading to the shrines and the situation is absolutely normal.
